Most keepsake gifts are decided late. The occasion was always on the calendar; the gift wasn't. So the real question isn't whether a memory card is a good idea — it's whether one can get there in time.

The honest answer has three parts, because Karera moves at three different speeds depending on what you order and where it's going.

The three speeds

   Event Wall — immediately

   There is nothing to print and nothing to ship. You set it up, print the QR sign yourself, and it works the moment it's live. If the deadline is today and the gift is an event rather than a parcel, this is the one that always makes it.

2. 02

   Rush delivery — same-day in select cities

   A paid upgrade that moves your order to the front of the print queue and hands it to a courier instead of standard post. In several Canadian cities it can arrive the same day; everywhere else in Canada it's the fastest route available to that address. The exact promise for your address — the speed, the cut-off, and the fee — is shown at checkout when you order.

3. 03

   Standard delivery — about a week

   Production takes 2–3 business days after you submit your album, then a few more in transit with Canada Post. This is the default, and for anything more than a week out it's all you need.

The album can arrive before the card does

This is the part people miss when they think a late gift is a lost cause. The printed card is a pointer to the album — it isn't the album. Once your keepsake is built, you can share the album link and passcode with the recipient straight away, so they can open the photos, video, and message on the day itself. The physical card then arrives afterward as the object that makes it permanent.

So even on standard shipping, the memory can be delivered today. Only the keepsake in the box is on a truck.

When even rush isn't fast enough

If it has to be in someone's hands within hours and no courier can promise that, stop trying to send an object.
